  I just had a small concern about something involving the Hays Health Department and the environment inside. I am a pregnant Hispanic mother of one and this morning I had an appointment to get certified for the WIC program which I LOVE, it's a fabulous program and really helps me with the health information I am interested about for both my babies. But, I have noticed before at this location that whenever I walk in Fox News is being broadcast on the big screen TV spewing hate about something or another. This morning it was Healthcare (which I found odd since everybody knows that something has to be done about the issue, and for God's sake, this is a Health Department) and the next news story to come across was a shouting white haired man about food assistance for Mexican family's who "Are barely legal and should work for the food their children need" and by the looks of the 2 other Hispanic families in room and even the Caucasian woman with 2 babies on her lap, I could tell they were all just as offended as I was. I highly debated on just turning around and high-tailing my pregnant butt right back out the front door and not depending on this Health Department for anything if that's the kind of hate they want announced to the people that support their programs. I'm not a progressive by any means and wouldn't like to see MSN running their stories on high either, but I would prefer to hear their pleasant voices over the screaming hate of Fox News, why not try broadcasting something for the children in the lobby instead?
